If production continues through 2028, the model will reach the 10-year mark, a notable milestone in today&rsquo;s fast-evolving compact segment. Even so, the figure remains strong enough to warrant keeping it in production for a bit longer. Shortly after launch, Mercedes added a third shift to its assembly line to keep up with demand. One upcoming addition stands apart: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2025\/02\/mercedes-teases-baby-g-class-electric-e-class-and-more-v8-and-v12-live-on\/\">the baby G-Class<\/a>.
